Known for her roles in several popular films including X-Men: First Class, No Reservations, and The Brave One. She played Christina in the 2014 science fiction film Divergent and Toast the Knowing in the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road. In 2019, she was cast as Catwoman in the 2022 film The Batman.

She attended the State University of New York at Purchase to study acting, but left after one year to pursue a career in acting.
