Social media star Annabelle Ham died at 22 after an epileptic event. Her family announced the news of her passing on Monday.

Ham’s family shared a photo on her social media page and captioned it,

“We’re writing this with heavy, heavy hearts. Annabelle experienced an epileptic event and has gone on to the gates of heaven,”

“She struggled with this for a long time and wanted to raise awareness for it, which we will do in honor of her.”

The grieving family described the star as “beautiful, […] inspiring and lived life to the fullest.”

The family continued in the heartwarming message,

“Everyone she met was inspired by her energy and the light inside her soul that shined so bright. She was, and will forever be, so so loved,”

The Hams then asked everyone for “prayers of peace” and the “chance to grieve and work through this as a family.” They also begged fans not to “post or spread speculation or details that are unfounded.”

As per the Daily Mail, the Atlanta native attended a bachelorette party when she went missing in Fairhope, Alabama, on Saturday.

The college student’s older sister Alexandria previously reported on Facebook that her sibling was last seen walking along a pier.

Her post on Saturday read,

‘My sister is missing. We have her phone. She might have fallen off pier,’

Fairhope Police Station also released a statement about the influencer’s disappearance saying that they later found her deceased.

Annabelle rose to fame after launching a YouTube lifestyle channel in 2014 which currently has more than 77,000 subscribers. She also had over 70,000 followers on Instagram.

She vlogged about her daily college life and also gave makeup and beauty advice.

Annabelle’s two sisters paid tribute to the late social media star

Her two sisters Amelia and Alexandria also paid their tributes on Instagram following the heartbreaking news.

Alexandria Ham shared a photo of her and Annabelle on Monday and wrote,

“There will never be words for how heartbroken my family and I are,”

”Annabelle was such a light to the world. A spark-plug. If you knew Annabelle, you loved her and loved being around her. She loved others so well too. Please keep my family in your prayers.”

Amelia Ham then shared a series of pictures of the three sisters, writing,

“sometimes i don’t understand why god does things but, i can’t even put into words how hard this is. you would never think something like this would or could happen to you until it does,”

“annabelle was such a good sister to alexandria, and me. she was amazing, she has gone to so many places seen and done so many things.

Amelia added,

“she was so sweet, so pretty with the most bluest eyes ever, she was always happy and lighted up every room. but god was ready for her. i know she always wanted to live life to the fullest, that’s what we have to do now. and i know she is dancing around in heaven right now. i can’t wait to give u a big hug one day.”

She also thanked everyone for their messages and support and mentioned the Bible passage Jeremiah 29:11.
