The voice actor, Daisuke Ono is the Japanese voice of the character. He is renowned for contributing his voice to the character Jotaro Kujo in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Sebastian Michaelis of Black Butler.

Whereas the voice artist, Josh Grelle voiced the character in the English dubbed version. He is popular for working under entertainment labels like Funimation and ADV Flims. Also, the voice director, Jerry Jewell voiced the character in the 53rd episode of the series.

Is William Vangeance & Licht the Same?

No, William Vangeance and Licht are not the same people. Licht is the leader of the Elf Tribe and one of the ten Apostles of Sephirah. When William was just old, he started dreaming about the memory of Patolli (leader of Eye of the Midnight Sun).

As time passed, Patolli started awakening in his body. Meanwhile, they became friends with each other. In another word, William started treating Patolli as own twins brother. Also, he had similar goals as Patolli who wanted to reincarnate and reunite his fellow elves destroying the human realm.

As Patolli is dead, he is resurrected in the artificial body of Licht.

Both of the captains of the Clover Kingdom, Yami & William, first met each other are the magic knight entrance examination. Later, both of them ended up being the squadmates, as they joined Grey Deer led by Julius.

Following that, they became the captain of their respective squads. Based on the Squad, Captain William is more powerful than Yami as the Golden Dawn is the top squad within the clover kingdom whereas the Black Bulls come in the second position in the ranking of the squads of the Kingdom.
