Cook Out Restaurants is a fast food restaurant chain, that primarily operates in the southeastern United States. It was found in 1989, in Greensboro, North Carolina, by Morris Reaves, and has since grown to over 400 locations in 13 states. The chain is known for its wide variety of menu items, including burgers, hot dogs, milkshakes, and barbecue. Cook Out is also known for its drive-thru service and late-night hours.

The first Cook Out restaurant opened in Greensboro, North Carolina, in 1989, before branching out beyond North Carolina, and more than 50 additional stores were opened after the initial one. As of November 2022, there are 326 outlets open throughout ten states. On July 30, 2010, the business inaugurated its first out-of-state location in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Cook Out locations opened in Clemson and Orangeburg, South Carolina in 2010. At the very end of 2011, Cook Out opened locations in Radford, Virginia; Blacksburg, South Carolina; and Columbia, South Carolina.
