Simmons was not associated with the wrongdoing using any and all means. He was pursued for endeavored disturbed assault on two counts under 60 days after his capture. He was tracked down liable by a jury of eleven white men and condemned to 100 years in jail.

Following his conviction, Vincent was sentenced to the Louisiana State Penitentiary, otherwise called Angola. Since the day he entered jail, he has been trying to upset his conviction.
