Lately, Riko Shibata is gaining people attention as the fifth wife of Nicolas Kim Coppola, known professionally as Nicolas Cage. He is one of the successful American actor and filmmaker.

Riko and Nicolas Are a Newly Wed Couple.

Yes, Riko, who is from Kyoto, Japan, and Nicolas, a native of California, is a newly married couple in the town. People Confirms, the pair tied the knot on February 16, 2021, in Las Vegas. 

The Oscar-winning actor says in a statement: "It's true, and we are very happy". The wedding was very intimate and small which took place at the Wynn Casino and Hotel in Sin City back.

The marriage date was selected in honour of Nicolas' late father August Coppola's birthday. For their big day, the groom donned Tom Ford Tuxedo while the bride was wearing a Kyoto's handmade Japanese Bridal Kimono. 

Shibata walked down the aisle to Kiroro's "Winter Song," her favourite song. With a backdrop of lush greenery and fairy lights, they were proclaimed husband and wife. All was flawless.

Before exchanging the traditional Catholic and Shinto vows in 2021, they have dated each other for more than a year. They first met in Shiga, Japan in 2020 and began dating on March 26 2020.

The couple were first photographed at a New Orleans cemetery in February 2020. A week after the visit, they were seen holding each other's hand at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

After spending time for a few months, 57, Cage announced is engagement in his brother Marc Coppola's radio show in August. He said that: "I finally just said ''Look, I wanna marry you'' and we got engaged on FaceTime".

Cage Was Married For Four Times Before Riko

Riko's married for the first time, but it's the fifth marriage for the actor, Cage. Before her, the Adaptation's star was enjoying his marital relationship with his former four wives. 

His first nuptials was with actress Patricia Arquette in April 1995, divorce finalized in 2001. Then he went to marry Elvis Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, a singer and songwriter. They wedded on August 10, 2002, and finalized the divorce on May 16, 2004.

The Face/Off star then got hitched to Alice Kim, married on July 30, 200 and separated in 2016. They had one son Kal-El Coppola Cage, born on October 3 2005, and was named after Superman. 

His fourth wife is Erika Koike, whom he tied the knot in March 2019 and had divorced four days later, in June 2019. In addition, Nicolas has a son named Weston Coppola Cage, 30 from his past love affairs with Christina Fulton, an actress.
