It’s been years since Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez called it quits on their marriage and got divorced, but it appears the Latin singer is ready to tie the knot again. Anthony and model Shannon De Lima have been together now and again since 2012, though they’re off almost as much as they’re on. However, it appears that they’ve been on for a while, and what’s even more shocking is the fact that they’ve been engaged since March. An eight-month Hollywood engagement that everyone is just now finding out about? It’s virtually unheard of.

The news broke today after reports surfaced that the pair are actually about to exchange their vows in the Dominican Republic. They’re apparently just a week or so away from their wedding day, and they’re looking forward to it. This will be the third time that Anthony has married, and he’s gaining another child in the process by becoming the step-father of De Lima’s 7-year-old son. The singer has two kids with his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, and he has four kids from two previous relationships.

Whether or not J.Lo knows her ex is about to get married again is unknown, she’s made no comment. However, she probably does know that her children’s father is looking to remarry in the coming weeks considering this will make the model her children’s step-mother, and that’s one of those things you tend to discuss with those whose children you share. Assuming she knows, she’s made no public statement to express her happiness or ambivalence for her ex, but since she’s been dating for years now, we assume she won’t have that much of an issue with her ex-husband tying the knot with a model.

The couple hasn’t wed yet, but they’re set to do so mid-November. Stay tuned for more details after their Caribbean wedding.
