Who was Jayne Mansfield?

Jayne Mansfield was an American actress who has acted in The Sheriff of Fractured Jaw (1958) and in It Takes a Thief (1960). In the 1960s, though she did continue to act in small roles on film and stage.

She died on June 29, 1967, at the age of 34 in Eastern New Orleans, United States. The cause of her death was extensive brain trauma which she sustained in an automobile accident on US Highway 90. Her car had crashed at high speed into the back of a tracker trailer. She died instantly on the spot.
