Tyne Daly started her stage career in summer stock in New York before making her Broadway debut in the drama “That Summer – That Fall” in 1967.

She is best recognized for her role as Detective Mary Beth Lacey on the television series “Cagney & Lacey,” for which she earned four Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
