He is famous for appearing as a troupe member on the reality TV show, ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
He was married to his fellow DWTS star and pro dancer, Emma Slater for four years prior to their split.

Sasha Farber and Emma Slater’s Marriage

Sasha Farber and Emma Slater first met in 2009 on the set of Broadway’s Burn The Floor. Two years later, in 2011, the couple confirmed that they were dating.

Their relationship did not go smoothly and they decided to call it quits after three years of dating in 2014. However, the couple continued to work together in Dancing With The Stars.

After a year of their split, they decided to give it another shot and started dating again.

Sasha proposed in October 2016 on Dancing With the Stars. During the live show, he proposed:

“Babe, I wanted to do this for such a long, long time. I love you so much. Will you marry me?”

Slater accepted the proposal.

In 2018, the couple exchanged wedding vows. Slater and Farber’s first dance was to Ed Sheeran‘s “Perfect”. In addition to close friends and family, the wedding was also attended by their fellow DWTS colleagues including Julianne Hough, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Drew Scott, and Cheryl Burke.

Emma told US Weekly:

“We are on top of the world right now. It was the most amazing day. It was absolutely amazing. Nothing went wrong. It was brilliant.”

In August 2022, sources confirmed that after four years of marriage, the couple had split. A source told US Weekly:

“They’ve been apart for many months now. They both have not been wearing their wedding rings and are each leading a single life.”

Regarding the split, Emma told Extra,

“I think it’s been a challenging year for a lot of people… For me, I just kind of surround myself with a lot of friends and just try to uplift and do the best I can, and I really do think that that’s the same for almost everybody.”

As of now, Sasha Farber has a net worth of $2 million according to online sources. The professional dancer’s main source of income is in Dancing with the Stars, having been a member of the troupe since Season 14.

He was later promoted to a professional dancer in Season 17 and partnered with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, finishing in eighth place before returning to the troupe.

In Season 22, Sasha resumed his role as a full-time dancer in the ballroom. Despite never winning the mirror ball trophy, Sasha and his celebrity partners have consistently finished among the top five contestants during his nine seasons on the show.
