Mr. Bean is a character in the British sitcom Mr. Bean. The character was created and played by Rowan Atkinson. Mr. Bean is the main protagonist and is a childish buffoon who brings various unusual schemes and contrivances to everyday tasks.

He lives alone and often wears a brown suit and a skinny red tie paired with a digital wristwatch.

Mr. Bean rarely speaks but mumbles a few words which are in a comically low-pitched voice. He has a teddy bear which he calls “Teddy” and it is also his best friend. He celebrates Teddy’s birthdays and buys Christmas gifts for Teddy.

Mr. Bean drives a citron-green 1977 British Leyland Mini. Mr. Beans has a girlfriend, Irma Gobb. He regards her more as a friend and companion than a love interest however, he becomes jealous when she goes on a date with another man.
