Ime Sunday Udoka better known as Ime Udoka was born on August 9, 1977, in Portland, Oregon and he is currently 45 years. Ime Udoka is a Nigerian-American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Ime Udoka represented the Nigerian National Team during his 12 years career winning bronze at 2005 All Africans games championship in Algeria.
Ime Udoka played as a small forward and featured for several teams including Fargo-Moorhead Beez, Independiente, Charleston Lowgators, Los Angeles Lakers, JA Vichy, Gran Canaria among several others.
After retiring, Ime Udoka became the assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs for about 7 years before joining the Philadelphia 76ers for a year. In 2020, he also served as the assistant coach for Brooklyn Nets. In 2021, Ime Udoka was appointed as the head coach of NBA side Boston Celtics.
