Chewy Mcgregor Rossdale (Dog)

Gavin Rossdale had a Pomeranian named Chewy that he got in August 2012. After recovering from surgery, Chewy sadly passed away in January 2024 at 12 years old. Mcgregor Rossdale

This is the last post I ever wanted to write.
So regretfully…
We buried chewy today.we lost him suddenly a few days ago.
its been a rough few days. me and the fam are
Pretty heartbroken.
The house feels different,all his spots are vacant and
The floor has no life.
I never been around small dogs before and at first I never
Expected to connect with such a supermodel but within
A short time,I was smitten.
And he was my absolute little furry bestie.
I can’t stop thinking about him even if I look like I’m doing something else.
He was the one there through all my hardest and loneliest times.
He was magic.
Love your pets.

Winston (Dog)

Gavin Rossdale had a cherished dog named Winston that he got in 1988 who then passed away in 2004 at the age of 16. Winston was a Komondor, also known as a Hungarian Sheep Dog, or “mop dog” to their friends. A Komondor was famously featured on Beck’s 1996 album, Odelay. Wiston accompanied Rossdale down the aisle when he married Gwen Stefani in London in 2002. Even after marrying Stefani, Rossdale didn’t move to her native Los Angeles due to Winston being in England. He ended up moving after Winston crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

I’m living in LA most of the time. We have a beautiful house in London, and I used to spend a lot of time there because my Hungarian sheepdog was there. But I lost him in October, so I’m a bit more rootless now. He was 16 years and seven months old and had been such a defining force in my life amid the craziest times I’ve ever had, being successful and travelling. That was tempered by the fact that he was at home, going, ‘Hey, what’s up? When are you coming back?’

Gavin Rossdale, a British musician and actor, best recognized as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the rock band Bush, which emerged on the music scene in the early 1990s.

Rossdale’s journey into music was sparked early in life. After his parents’ divorce, he was raised by his father, Douglas Rossdale, a doctor, and influenced by his mother, Barbara Stephan, a former model. His passion for music led him to drop out of Westminster School at 17 and form his own band, Midnight. However, it was not until he formed the band Future Primitive in 1992, later renamed Bush, that he achieved significant success. Bush’s debut album Sixteen Stone, released in 1994, was a commercial triumph, featuring hits like “Everything Zen,” “Comedown,” and “Glycerine.” The band continued to gain popularity with their second album Razorblade Suitcase in 1996, despite mixed reviews.

Apart from his success with Bush, Rossdale has ventured into solo projects. His 2008 solo album WANDERlust featured the hit single “Love Remains The Same,” which marked his first Top 40 hit since his days with Bush. He also collaborated with Apocalyptica for the song “End of Me” from their 2010 album 7th Symphony. Rossdale’s involvement in music extends beyond performing; he was a judge for the 10th annual Independent Music Awards and received an Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement in Songwriting in 2013.

Rossdale’s acting career is notable as well, with appearances in films such as Constantine (2005), Zoolander (2001), and The Bling Ring (2013). He has also appeared in TV series like Criminal Minds and Hawaii Five-0.

Rossdale was previously married to Gwen Stefani, lead singer of the rock band No Doubt. The couple met when Bush and No Doubt were on tour together in 1995.
