It’s over for Dua Lipa and Romain Gavras just eight months after a whirlwind romance.
The Levitating hitmaker confirmed that she was dating the filmmaker, who is Rita Ora‘s ex, back in March. The couple were seen exiting the Saint Laurent Paris Fashion Week show at the time.
The Sun was the first to report that the two are no longer together.
The outlet reported that the breakup happened after the singer decided to put all her focus on her music career at the moment just ahead of the release of her third album.
With the release of her latest song Houdini, the singer has ended her romance with the French native.

”She has blinkers on when it comes to her career and the pair ended the relationship before things turned sour.”

What is Dua Lipa’s new album about?
The last time the former couple was seen together was last month when they enjoyed a night out with the singer’s brother Gjin, 17.
The threesome was seen leaving the Chiltern Firehouse where the musician looked very stylish in bold leather pants, a studded white top, and a grey woolen coat.
The Grammy winner said that her new record is very personal to her and explores dating and finding out whether a lover is real or not.
Lipa said on US radio,
”It’s more the different feelings and emotions you have throughout the period of being single.”
”It’s also understanding. You understand what you want and what you need and what you deserve.”
She added,
”It goes from the phase of figuring out singledom into potentially a new relationship.”
”Then it’s early days and getting to see the truth behind someone – whether they are real or not. Or who they are.”
Before dating Romain, who is 14 years her senior, Lipa was in a relationship with Anwar Hadid. The singer and the younger brother of Gigi and Bella Hadid dated for over two years before their break up in 2021.
