Danny DeVito had a photo of him walking a Dachsund go viral, but the dog isn’t his. He was actually filming a scene from Weiner-Dog (2016).

Danny DeVito had a dog named Pepper and said this about her “She was one of those captivating animals that everybody loved.”.

Zorro (Dog)

Rhea Perlman has a rescued Chihuahua named Zorro, that she also calls Zeus. On her Instagram, she posted the photo seen here, saying, “My ’60s flower dog. Zeus!”. But the dog’s nametag says “Zorro” and has been called Zorro in several interviews. There are photos of Zorry and Danny DeVito together, but Pearlman kept Zorro after they separated.

We found him, he was a rescue. We were at the beach house. It was a miserable pouring night. We were telling ghost stories in front of the fire. Then there’s a pause and we hear this ungodly sound which sounds like it’s coming from the floor. We were like ‘oh my God.’ Jake and his friend go out to look. There was that little fluff ball under there. That was 11 years ago.

Daniel Michael DeVito Jr. is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. He gained prominence for his portrayal of the taxi dispatcher Louie De Palma in the television series Taxi (1978–1983), which won him a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award. He plays Frank Reynolds on the FX and FXX sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2006–present).

In 2006, Danny DeVito joined the cast of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia with Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, and Glenn Howerton.

In 2017 he earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his performance in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s The Price. DeVito and Michael Shamberg founded Jersey Films. Soon afterwards, Stacey Sher became an equal partner. The production company is known for films such as Pulp Fiction, Garden State, and Freedom Writers. DeVito also owned Jersey Television, which produced the Comedy Central series Reno 911!. DeVito and wife Rhea Perlman starred together in his 1996 film Matilda, based on Roald Dahl’s children’s novel. DeVito was also one of the producers nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture for Erin Brockovich.

Danny DeVito was married to actress Rhea Perlman from 1982 until 2017.
