Before Fame

When he was fifteen, he dropped out of high school to join the International Ballet Academy in Christchurch. Later on, he moved to the UK in 2008 to join the London-based all-male dance company called the BalletBoyz.

Trivia

In 2018, he and his dance team performed a film in Antarctica. 

Family Life

He is a native of Christchurch, New Zealand. He and his boyfriend Jonathan Groff met while teaching at a summer theater camp in New Zealand.
