Carroll Shelby was born in the United States on January 11, 1923. He is an entrepreneur, racer, and creator. Between the late 1960s and the early 2000s, Shelby worked on and modified the AC Cobra and Mustang for Ford Motor Company.

Carroll Shelby was born in Leesburg, Texas, to Warren Hall Shelby and his wife Eloise Shelby. Warren Hall Shelby delivered mail in a small town.
