Amber Rose and rapper Wiz Khalifa exchanged wedding vows on July 13, 2013, but today marks the end of their honeymoon phase and the beginning of their divorce proceedings. The 30-year-old model is asking the courts for full custody of their 19-month-old son, Sebastian. The reason listed on the divorce papers that the model filed Monday is irreconcilable differences.

Things certainly have changed in the past two weeks. It was just two weeks ago that model wished her husband a happy 27^th birthday on Instagram. She posted a picture of the two holding one another close and captioned the photo, “Happy 27^th Birthday. I’ll love u forever…Hope this year is an amazing one for u sweetheart.” A lot can change in just a few weeks, but the rumor at the moment is that she’s been spotted out and about with another married man; Nick Cannon.

Cannon is going through his own marital issues as the moment as he and his wife, Mariah Carey, are separated. However, the model recently signed with Cannon’s management company and reps for both parties say that their public appearances are all business-related.

Khalifa’s camp has not yet responded to the filings to make any announcements about the couple’s split, and neither have Rose’s. However, the court documents filed Monday are official even if there has been no official announcement dictating what happened in the relationship to make it go sour after a little more than a year of marriage. It seems that the couple has decided they are no longer fit to be married. Whether or not their split is amicable is unknown. It is also unknown whether or not Khalifa knows his wife wants full custody and is in agreement with that or if he plans on fighting her for full or even just joint custody of their young son.
